David Piluso is a guitarist, composer, and producer from Toronto, Canada. With a deep appreciation for diverse musical genres such as rock, prog, jazz, metal, and pop, David's musical style encompasses a fusion of various influences. His debut record 'Blue Hour' was released on July 3, 2024 and showcases his playing and composition in the style of prog-fusion; blending elements of rock, prog, and jazz. The release had  success through regular airplay on Canadian radio stations such as JazzFM, reaching 1500 monthly listeners on Spotify during its peak, and landing a place on the first page of the Bandcamp charts for the jazz and fusion genres.

In addition to composing and performing his own music, David works with other musicians as a guitarist, producer, and mixing engineer.

David holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Master of Arts degrees in music from York University, where he studied performance, composition, and music theory. Throughout his time at the university, he had the opportunity to study with and receive mentorship from several accomplished performers and composers. His final paper for his master's explored several original compositions, with a guitar component showcasing improvisation and technical considerations.
