David Piluso is a Canadian guitarist, composer, improviser, producer, and educator from Toronto, ON. His diverse musical interests include blending sub-genres of jazz fusion and progressive rock. David is closely involved in the full creative process of music including composing, arranging, producing, performing, recording, and mixing. He believes that every part of the creative process is intertwined and having involvement and context of each part of the process unlocks a level of creative control and interconnectedness that isn’t otherwise possible. David holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours (2022), and a Master of Arts in Composition (2024) from York University in Toronto.

Blue Hour, also known as the David Piluso Quartet, are a Toronto-based instrumental fusion band. Their sound incorporates influences from jazz, fusion and prog rock. The essence of their sound varies across their original compositions with catchy guitar driven melodies, improvisation, and experimentation. The group features David Piluso on guitar, Tristan St-Pierre on keys, Damien De Oliveira on drums, and Russell Molina on bass.
