David Piluso - Guitarist, composer, and mixing engineer

About me

Hey there! My name is David Piluso. I’m a guitarist, composer, producer, and mixing engineer based in Toronto, Canada. I’m excited to offer professional remote mixing services to those in need of personalized audio production services that bring your music to the next level. I take on projects worldwide and operate out of my studio in Toronto, Canada.

I really enjoy working with other artists and musicians to bring their vision to life. I have experience in various styles including rock, pop, jazz, fusion, and metal.

I treat each project as my own music and meticulously work on each project until its sounding its absolute best.

I am continually refining my craft with each project I take on, and keep up to date with modern audio innovations and techniques. I use industry standard equipment from Universal Audio, Waves, Solid State Logic, iZotope, Steven Slate, Plugin Alliance, and more, to insure only top level quality. I do all my production work out of my own fully acoustically treated studio to ensure optimal translation amongst various systems.

While I am based in Toronto, Canada, I work on all projects remotely, so we can work together regardless of where you are in the world!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much is mixing and editing?

Pricing depends on a few factors including how many tracks, how many multitracks, quality of the recording, and how involved the project will be. I am happy to discuss each project in-depth and provide a customized quote and plan with no obligation.

What do I need to provide for mixing?

I will need each all of your session’s multitracks, meaning each individually recorded audio track with no processing or effects. These files should be exported in WAV format.

Ensure that all multitracks are the exact same length. You should be able to import all of the audio in the beginning of a project and all the parts should line up.

Detailed instructions will be provided upon taking your project on.

How long does mixing take?

This varies between project to project, but I aim to have the first draft completed within 1-2 weeks. From there we will go back and forth with any changes you want done.

How many revisions do you offer?

I don’t place a hard limit on revisions and will work with you to get your mix sounding the way you want it. Within reason, of course.
